I don't tag my posts

So I’ve been moving the blog, and as I’ve been doing it I think I’ve found one rule that will help me stick to the new format, and by extension how I organize my life:

I’m not tagging my posts anymore. The posts will still have tags and categories (2 of each), but the indifidual posts in my source file will not have tags. It’s all in the johnny.decimal system, and if I feel like it needs a tag of its own it’s probably because I have multiple posts about it, and it needs its own ID. The other immediate benefit of this is that it makes it way easier to move the posts since now they’re all on the same headline level!

Here’s hoping not tagging my posts will help me be a little more organized.

Note: For those of you looking at the source of this (if I make it available) there are tags on headings within some of the posts because this also functions as my org-roam database, and I use tags to filter the UI. Also my notes on individual topics are structured more like wikis anyway, so meh.
