I think for the moment I’m gonna stick with just using WordPress for my blog. If I find something that enables me to post from mobile with an SSG, and desktop from Emacs I’ll look into switching again, but for now… Ehh. Best I can think is maybe going back …

Ugh, I don’t know what happened in the past few months, but ox-hugo is running a whole lot slower now. It takes a solid 3 minutes to export *anything* on top of how long it would normally take.
So something I didn’t really think that I’d miss from other blogging stuff was the view counter. I know it’s not great to focus on the numbers, but having *some* kind of idea that my site is getting traffic is kinda comforting. Makes it feel less lonely. Also reminds me …
My solution so far for Hugo cross-posting is: Nextcloud notes and a cron job running every minute. This will 100% flood my inbox for now, which is fine, that’s not an email I check anyway and I can filter the emails
