I was reading an article about accessibility in online social media space, and… One of these just feels condescending? They bring up the eggplant/peach emojis being used for other reasons, and not just to mean peaches and eggplants. And like. That’s not a disability thing, for starters, but it’s been in that use for long enough that I’d imagine hearing “Eggplant” around a bunch of other people being horny gets the point across. Same with “Peach”, especially if the screen reader announces “Peach emoji.”

I might be way off the mark here, but that just *feels* condescending. I know there are other issues, like people using 60 emojis in a row, but that particular one doesn’t feel accessibility specific
